ARTIST STATEMENT

I am a multimedia artist with a concentration in painting. I’ve been developing work that is about the impact seclusion has had on remote areas in New England, the socioeconomics of living in those spaces, and being queer in those communities. In the past year I have been utilizing both 2D woodwork and painting together to create work that captures a home-made feel.

  • I won second place, earning $100, for a piece I made as a sophomore in high school. The piece is titled “Peace of Mind”.
