Renée Caisse
is an 19-year-old photographer, painter, and writer currently based in Portland, Maine and central Massachusetts. Caisse is in the process of getting her BFA in photography and a minor in writing at Maine College of Art & Design (MECA&D). Her work has a primary focus on the exploration of the self and how portraiture, color, body language, and symbolism can influence the emotion of a piece. Caisse has an eye for capturing clean, beautiful, and detailed pictures that reflect her subjects. Caisse works in both film and digital photography with experience in the darkroom and using lighting equipment. She offers headshots, studio, and artwork photography services at her school to expand her and her classmates portfolios.
